Split a PDF
Cut one PDF into several — page by page, in equal chunks, or along the ranges you type.
Three ways to split
One file per page
A 12-page PDF becomes 12 files. Handy for sending invoices or certificates one by one.
Equal chunks
Set how many pages go in each file — 2 for double-sided forms, 10 to break a long report into parts.
Exactly the pages you name
Each range you type becomes its own PDF — or tick the box and they all go into one file, which is how you pull a few pages out of a long document.
How to write ranges
A run of pages
Pages 1, 2 and 3 in one file.
A single page
Just page 5, on its own.
To the end
From page 8 to the last page, however many there are.
Several at once
Separate the ranges with commas; each one becomes a file.
Common questions
What do I get when the PDF splits into several files?
A single ZIP with the parts named in page order, such as report-pages-01-03.pdf. If only one file comes out, it downloads directly.
Do the split files lose quality?
No. Pages are copied as they are — text stays selectable and images keep their resolution.
How do I pull just a few pages into one PDF?
Choose Custom ranges, type the pages and tick Put all ranges in one PDF.
Is my document uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is opened in your browser's memory and processed there; no request goes over the network. With contracts and invoices that is exactly what matters.
